Top of the Stretch cartoon

Top of the Stretch to be featured this summer in the New York State Racing Association's Post Parade Magazine and Saratoga Special!

John Daly and Eric Kozlowski have created a new cartoon that has been picked up for daily publication at historic Saratoga Race Course. In addition, the Saratoga Special will be publishing the cartoon, which is distributed everyday in the greater Capital Region.

Inspired by the Hoot Owl, Top of the Stretch chronicles the foibles of the everyday race player and features former Manager, John Shapazian. "Shapes," was the leading handicapper in last year's Saratoga Special and beat out an impressive list of handicappers in the entire racing community.

The first publication will be a color version that will be featured on Belmont Stakes Day in June. Keep a look out for the cartoon that was inspired by the Hoot Owl!
